Terms of Use
Effective June 18, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Catalyst (the “app”), published by Garrison Jackson (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple Standard EULA”), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA differ, the Apple Standard EULA’s minimum terms control.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Catalyst for your own non-commercial entertainment on Apple devices you own or control, consistent with the App Store Terms of Service and the Apple Standard EULA.
2. Eligibility and mature content
You must be 18 or older to use the app. Catalyst includes adult (“Spicy”) conversation content intended for mature audiences. Use it responsibly and only among consenting adults.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
Catalyst offers optional upgrades to Catalyst Pro:
- Catalyst Pro — Monthly — auto-renewable subscription
- Catalyst Pro — Annual — auto-renewable subscription
- Catalyst Pro — Lifetime — one-time purchase
Current pricing is shown in the app at the point of purchase. For the auto-renewable subscriptions: payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase; the subscription automatically renews for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your device settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. The lifetime option is a one-time, non-recurring purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms; refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
4. The content is for entertainment
Catalyst’s questions are prompts for conversation, provided for entertainment only. They are not professional, medical, legal, or relationship advice. You are responsible for how you use them.
5. Acceptable use
Do not copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its content, and do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
The app and its questions, decks, design, and brand are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you a license to use the app, not any ownership of it.
7. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
9. Apple
Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Any maintenance, support, or warranty obligations for the app are ours and not Apple’s, consistent with the Apple Standard EULA.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
